Important Product Licensing Information for WhatsUp Gold v12.3:
With the release of version 12.3, WhatsUp Gold will ensure compliance with your software license device level. Before updating to v12.3, we strongly suggest you check your existing installation for the current number of devices being monitored. If you find you have more devices configured than your license allows, you will have the option to upgrade to the necessary device level or reduce the number of devices to be monitored to the level purchased. EOL for support of SQL Server 2000
As of April 8, 2008, Microsoft retired mainstream support for SQL Server 2000. Coincidentally, WhatsUp Gold support for SQL Server 2000 ended with v12. Microsoft released SQL Server 2008 on August 6, 2008. In light of the performance improvements offered in the newest versions of SQL Server, WhatsUp Gold is leveraging these new performance capabilities in future releases, beginning with v12.3 (release October 1, 2008). WhatsUp Gold support for SQL Server 2008 is anticipated by mid-2009.
